Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 — The Culling Game Part 1 — ran on Crunchyroll from January 8 to March 26, 2026. Twelve episodes, weekly on Thursdays, opening with a double premiere and closing with an extended 27-minute finale.

Here is the full schedule, including the two details that tripped people up mid-run: the release time shifted in March, and there was a break week before the finale.

Why the release time changed mid-season

Episodes stopped arriving at 1:00 p.m. ET and started arriving at 12:30 p.m. ET in March. Nothing changed on Crunchyroll’s side — the United States moved to daylight saving time.

The broadcast slot in Japan is fixed, and Japan does not observe daylight saving. When US clocks jump forward, the same Japanese broadcast lands half an hour earlier on an American clock. Every simulcast anime shifts this way twice a year, and it catches people out every time.

The break week before the finale

There was no episode on March 19. The finale moved to March 26 and arrived 27 minutes long instead of the usual runtime — a deliberate trade, giving the Culling Game’s first arc room to land rather than cutting it to fit.

That finale, “Sendai Colony,” centers on Yuta Okkotsu in a three-way fight against Ryu Ishigori and Takako Uro.

What “Part 1” means for season 4

The season is labelled The Culling Game Part 1, and the label is doing real work: the arc is not finished. The twelve episodes cover the opening movement of the Culling Game, not its conclusion.

A second part is implied by the naming but has no announced date, episode count or production window. We will update this page when one is set.

Where to watch

All twelve episodes are on Crunchyroll, subtitled and dubbed, along with seasons 1 and 2 and the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film. A Crunchyroll subscription is required; the free ad-supported tier gets episodes a week later than premium.

Now that the run has finished, there is no wait — the arc plays straight through.
