VisionQuest premieres on Disney+ on October 14, 2026, and it is a Disney+ exclusive in the United States — there is no theatrical or free-TV window. The eight-episode series rolls out weekly, one chapter every Wednesday, closing out the studio’s WandaVision trilogy on December 2, 2026.

If you have followed Wanda and Vision across WandaVision (2021) and Agatha All Along (2024), this is the chapter that finally puts the android front and center. Below is the full release schedule, the cast, and everything you need to plan your fall viewing.

Full release schedule: every episode date

Marvel Television is releasing VisionQuest the way it handled its recent Disney+ series — one episode a week rather than a single binge drop. The premiere lands on October 14th, and a new episode follows every Wednesday through the December 2nd finale.

What time do episodes drop? Disney+ has not published an exact clock time for the premiere. Marvel’s recent weekly Disney+ titles have gone live in the evening — roughly 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT — rather than at the platform’s usual overnight hour, so plan for a prime-time arrival and refresh Disney+ on the day if you want to watch at launch. We will update this schedule if Disney confirms a specific start time.

The final chapter of the WandaVision trilogy

Marvel Television has framed VisionQuest as the closing installment of a trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along. This time the spotlight moves to a character the earlier shows left unresolved: the pale, rebuilt android known as White Vision.

In WandaVision, that version of the character was assembled to destroy Wanda Maximoff, then flew off after his memories were restored. VisionQuest picks him up on the run — rebooted and hunted by people who want to weaponize him — and asks a genuinely thorny question: if his memories, feelings, and relationships were rebuilt from spare parts, is he still the same person the Avengers lost?

Paul Bettany, who has played Vision since Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015, returns in the lead. The trailer opens on Vision in human form, working a shift at a pub and locking up for the night — a long way from the Avengers compound.

Who is in the cast?

Alongside Bettany, the headline addition is James Spader, reprising Ultron from Avengers: Age of Ultron. The ensemble also includes Ruaridh Mollica, Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, Emily Hampshire, James D’Arcy, Orla Brady, Diane Morgan, Lauren Morais, Polly Frame, Henry Lewis, and Jonathan Sayer.

How to watch VisionQuest in the US

VisionQuest streams only on Disney+ in the United States, so a Disney+ subscription is the single requirement — there is no separate rental or premium add-on to buy for the series. Disney+ offers both an ad-supported plan and ad-free plans, and it is also available inside the Disney+, Hulu, and (in some cases) ESPN bundles; check Disney+ for the current price of each tier. Because the show unfolds weekly, a single month of Disney+ across October and into early December covers the entire run.

Frequently asked questions

When does VisionQuest premiere?

The first episode arrives Wednesday, October 14, 2026, on Disney+.

How many episodes are there, and is it weekly or all at once?

There are eight episodes, released one per week on Wednesdays. It is not a binge drop. The finale lands on December 2, 2026.

Do I need to watch WandaVision and Agatha All Along first?

VisionQuest is billed as the conclusion of that trilogy, so WandaVision is the most useful primer — it introduces White Vision and the memory conflict at the heart of this series. Both WandaVision and Agatha All Along are on Disney+ if you want a refresher.

Is VisionQuest on any platform other than Disney+ in the US?

No. In the United States it is a Disney+ exclusive, with no theatrical release and no other streaming home.

Who plays the villain?

James Spader returns as Ultron, the artificial intelligence he first voiced in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
