On February 20, Netflix is rolling out a new adult animated series that blends courtroom chaos, offbeat humor, and the neon-soaked energy of Las Vegas. Strip Law, created by Cullen Crawford, lands on the platform with a 10-episode first season and aims squarely at fans of sharp, irreverent comedy.

A legal comedy where Las Vegas is part of the joke

At the center of Strip Law is Lincoln Gumb, a disciplined and rule-obsessed attorney who struggles to find his footing in Las Vegas courts. His hyper-serious approach clashes with a city where excess and spectacle are the norm rather than the exception.

His world is turned upside down when he teams up with Sheila Flambé, a local magician who fully embraces pleasure, showmanship, and a very flashy way of doing things. She doesn’t just want to practice law; she wants to perform it.

Together, they navigate some of the most absurd legal cases the city can produce, constantly pitting legal logic against an environment built on over-the-top behavior. Las Vegas isn’t just a background here—it actively shapes the tone, stories, and irreverent spirit of the series.

A voice cast packed with familiar names

Netflix is clearly banking on recognizable voices to anchor Strip Law. The main characters are brought to life by actors well-known to American TV audiences:

  • Adam Scott voices the rigid lawyer Lincoln Gumb
  • Janelle James lends her voice to Sheila Flambé
  • Keith David appears in the main voice cast
  • Aimee Garcia, Stephen Root, and Shannon Gisela round out the ensemble

This lineup underlines Netflix’s intention to position Strip Law alongside its established adult animated comedies, relying on talent already associated with acclaimed series to help the show stand out.

How Strip Law fits into Netflix’s adult animation push

Strip Law is created by Cullen Crawford and produced in partnership with Titmouse, a studio frequently involved in animation aimed at adult audiences. The show blends workplace satire with social caricature, using its legal setting and Las Vegas backdrop to poke fun at both professional environments and broader cultural excess.

The first season consists of ten episodes, all dropping at once on February 20. Netflix has not announced any renewal plans yet, but the show’s format and positioning suggest that it could easily be expanded into multiple seasons if it connects with viewers.

With its no-nonsense lawyer, hedonistic magician partner, and unapologetically bold sense of humor, Strip Law is shaping up to be one of Netflix’s most noticeable adult animation launches in the early part of the year.
