Ranma ½ Season 3 on Netflix: Full Release Schedule

Ranma ½ Season 3 arrives on Netflix on Saturday, October 3, 2026, and the streamer is releasing it one episode at a time rather than as a single binge. New episodes of MAPPA’s remake drop weekly on Saturdays, the same cadence Netflix used for the first two seasons, so viewers in the US get a fresh installment every weekend into December.

Below is the full week-by-week release schedule, the start times in both ET and PT, where to stream it, and what the new season is set to cover.

When Ranma ½ Season 3 premieres

Season 3 of the Ranma ½ remake begins on Saturday, October 3, 2026. In Japan, the season airs first on Nippon TV and affiliated broadcasters in a late-night slot, and Netflix then carries each episode internationally, including in the US, the same day. Netflix confirmed back in June 2026 that the season was coming in October before locking in the exact date.

Like the first two seasons, this is a weekly rollout, not an all-at-once drop. That means a single new episode each Saturday rather than a full season to marathon on day one.

Full Ranma ½ Season 3 release schedule

Netflix has confirmed the October 3rd premiere and the weekly cadence. It has not officially announced a total episode count for Season 3, but the first two seasons ran 12 episodes each, so the schedule below follows that pattern and will be updated if Netflix says otherwise. Start times are based on the Season 2 rollout; note that the US clock time shifts by an hour after daylight saving time ends on November 1, because Japan does not observe DST.

What time do new episodes arrive?

For the first two seasons, Netflix added each new episode on Saturday morning in the US, at roughly 11:55 a.m. ET / 8:55 a.m. PT, shortly after the Japanese broadcast. Expect the same window for Season 3. One wrinkle worth flagging: because the release is tied to the Japanese TV slot and Japan does not use daylight saving time, the US start time is likely to slide back an hour to around 10:55 a.m. ET / 7:55 a.m. PT once clocks change on November 1, 2026.

How many episodes are in Ranma ½ Season 3?

Netflix has not confirmed a number for Season 3. Both previous seasons ran 12 episodes, released weekly over about three months, so a similar length would carry Season 3 from early October into the second half of December. We will update this schedule the moment Netflix locks in the official count.

Where to watch Ranma ½ in the US

All three seasons stream on Netflix, and the show is included with every Netflix plan, including the ad-supported tier. Seasons 1 and 2 are already available to stream in full, so newcomers can catch up before the October 3 premiere. There is no separate purchase or add-on required in the US beyond a Netflix subscription.

What Season 3 is set to cover

MAPPA returns to produce the new season, with Konosuke Uda back as director, Kimiko Ueno handling series composition, and Hiromi Taniguchi on character design. The core Japanese voice cast returns as well, led by Kappei Yamaguchi and Megumi Hayashibara as the two forms of Ranma Saotome and Noriko Hidaka as Akane Tendo.

Season 3 also expands the ensemble with several characters pulled from Rumiko Takahashi’s original manga. Masako Nozawa joins as the Grand Master, Jun Fukuyama voices Sentaro Daimonji, and Minami Tanaka plays Tsubasa Kurenai, with Mayumi Tanaka and Saori Hayami also added to the cast. The remake continues to work through the manga Takahashi began serializing in the late 1980s, so the new episodes pick the story back up rather than resetting it.
