Status: Renewed. Paramount+ has officially ordered a fifth season of Tulsa King, and the cameras are already rolling. The renewal was announced on October 5, 2026 — before Season 4 had even premiered — so there is no suspense to sweat over here: Sylvester Stallone’s transplanted mob boss is coming back.

What is not settled yet is when. Paramount+ has not announced a premiere date for Season 5, but the pieces already in place tell you plenty about what the next chapter will look like.

Is Tulsa King canceled or renewed?

Renewed. Paramount+ confirmed Season 5 on October 5, 2026, roughly two weeks before the fourth season began streaming on October 16th. Renewing a drama before a new season’s debut is a clear vote of confidence, and Tulsa King has earned it. The Taylor Sheridan–created crime saga has been one of the service’s most dependable performers since Stallone first planted Dwight “The General” Manfredi in Oklahoma, and showrunner Terence Winter is steering the franchise into what looks like its biggest swing yet.

Renewing early also fits the way Paramount+ has built its business around Taylor Sheridan. Tulsa King was the first of his shows to break from the Yellowstone mold and prove that a Sheridan series could thrive far from Montana ranch country, and it has since become a cornerstone of the platform’s original slate. Locking in a fifth season before the fourth premiered keeps the pipeline uninterrupted and signals that the network sees Dwight’s story as a long-term tentpole rather than a limited run.

What will Tulsa King Season 5 be about?

The biggest change is geographic. Production has relocated from Atlanta to New York, and that move is tied directly to the story: Season 5 is set to send Dwight back toward his mafia roots on the East Coast, trading his Oklahoma empire-building for the old-world turf where his criminal life began. It is a shift that reframes the whole premise of the show, which launched on the fish-out-of-water comedy of a New York wiseguy exiled to Tulsa.

Stallone has said the New York shoot is expected to run four to five months — a longer, more involved production than the series has mounted before. It also marks the first Taylor Sheridan–produced series to film a season primarily in New York, a notable logistical commitment for a slate that has largely shot in the South and West.

Who is in the Tulsa King Season 5 cast?

Stallone returns as Dwight Manfredi. Scarlet Rose Stallone, who plays Spencer, has been promoted to series regular for the new season. Four more performers are joining as series regulars: Erik Palladino, Glenn Fleshler, Anthony Skordi, and Nickola Shreli. With the action moving east, expect the ensemble around Dwight to reflect the new setting rather than the Oklahoma crew that has anchored the first four seasons.

When will Tulsa King Season 5 premiere?

There is no release date yet. Production began in the fall of 2026 and, by Stallone’s own estimate, will take four to five months to complete — which points toward a 2027 premiere as the realistic expectation, though Paramount+ has not confirmed any window. We will update this guide the moment a date is announced.

How to watch Tulsa King right now

Every season of Tulsa King lives on Paramount+ in the United States. Seasons 1 through 3 are available to stream in full, so there is time to catch up before Season 5 arrives. Season 4 is rolling out now: it premiered on Friday, October 16, 2026, with new episodes landing weekly on Fridays at 12 a.m. PT / 3 a.m. ET. The 10-episode season is scheduled to run through its finale on December 18, 2026.

Season 4 also widened the bench, adding Gretchen Mol as a series regular alongside Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany, with James Russo’s Quiet Ray Renzetti emerging as Dwight’s chief rival as the season heats up. If you are weighing whether to subscribe, the live weekly rollout and the full back catalog together make this a strong stretch to jump in.

Frequently asked

Is Season 5 the final season of Tulsa King? No. Paramount+ has not announced an end date for the series, and nothing about the Season 5 order suggests it is the last.

Where is Tulsa King Season 5 filming? New York. Production moved from Atlanta to the East Coast to match a storyline that returns Dwight to his mafia origins.

Is Sylvester Stallone returning for Season 5? Yes. Stallone is back as Dwight Manfredi and has spoken publicly about the New York shoot.

Do I need Paramount+ to watch Tulsa King? Yes. In the United States, the series streams exclusively on Paramount+, which carries all four existing seasons and will be the home of Season 5.

How does Season 4 set up the New York move? Season 4 is still airing weekly through December 18, 2026, and it deepens the pressures on Dwight’s operation that make a return to his East Coast origins a natural next step. Watching it now is the best way to be ready for the shift in Season 5.
